These terms and conditions define the
rights and obligations of each party in the online sale of Weekend Gift Boxes,
and constitute a contract between the buyer and Weekend.ca.
General clauses
By using this website or ordering our
products online, you acknowledge having read and accepted the sales terms and
conditions that appear below. In case of change, the terms and conditions posted
on the website at the time the product was ordered will apply.
Information and activity descriptions
Weekend.ca strives to ensure that
package descriptions are as accurate as possible. However, Weekend.ca denies all
responsibility for any error that may be found on the website. All documents on
our website (photos, descriptions, etc.) are provided for illustrative purposes
only.
In the event that inaccurate or
incomplete information is posted on this website, the purchaser cannot cancel
his order, and Weekend.ca cannot be held responsible if the purchaser or gift
box recipient is unable to take advantage of the service described online.
Proposed activities are described as
accurately as possible. They are, however, subject to modification, in which
case the client should be notified by the activity provider when reserving.
Price
All prices are in Canadian funds, and
exclude taxes and delivery charges. The order is payable in its entirety in a
single instalment at the time it is placed.
Payment mode
Weekend.ca accepts PAYPAL, VISA or
MASTERCARD. In the event of non-payment, insufficient
payment, or charge back, Weekend.ca will suspend the order and stop delivery.
Weekend.ca denies any responsibility for fraudulent use of the payment method.
Delivery
Orders will be delivered to the address provided on the order form, within 48 hours across Canada from the first working day following
validation. For international shipping rates and delays, please contact us by email at
info@weekend.ca or by phone at 1 877-288-0044.
Weekend.ca will not be liable for any
delivery delays or errors resulting from input mistakes. In the event that an
inaccurate or incomplete delivery address has been entered, the purchaser will
be charged for redirecting the package to the appropriate address.
The purchaser or recipient must inspect
the product upon delivery and must note any transportation damage on the
delivery receipt. He must also notify Weekend.ca of the damage within 2 working
days following reception, otherwise Weekend.ca cannot be held responsible
for this damage.
Product availability
If the product ordered is unavailable,
the purchaser will be notified as soon as possible, at which time he will have
the option of cancelling his order. The purchaser will be given the choice
between a full refund (within 30 days following reception of the payment) or a
similar product of equivalent price.
Should the purchaser opt to exchange the
ordered product for a higher or lower priced selection, he will either pay the
difference or receive a refund for the difference, as the case may be.
If Weekend.ca is unable to exchange the
product, it reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the payment.
Weekend.ca is not liable for product unavailability, and will not pay
compensation.
Non-conformity
The purchaser or the recipient must
notify Weekend.ca, no later than two working days following reception of the
gift box of any mistake in the delivery and/or conformity of the product with
regards to the order placed. Any claim after this period will be rejected with
no possibility of recourse.

Reservations
All activities described in the boxes
must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance. When reserving, the gift box
holder must clearly indicate that he will be paying with a Weekend gift
certificate. Neither the activity provider nor Weekend.ca can be held
responsible should the holder appear without a reservation and the provider is
unable to deliver the activity or should the provider be unable to provide the
service at the time and date requested by the gift box holder.
Non-use of a product
If the Weekend gift certificate is not
used within the prescribed validity period, neither the purchaser nor the
recipient will be entitled to a refund.
Gift certificate
Each certificate can only be used once.
Any attempt to reuse or reproduce the Weekend gift certificate for multiple
usages will void the certificate.
Lost or stolen Weekend gift certificates
cannot be replaced or refunded.
Weekend gift certificates
cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, nor can they be used for credit or as
partial payment of packages other than those listed in the guide included in the
Weekend Gift Box.
Weekend.ca obligations
Weekend gift certificates are, by their
very nature, a limited-quantity product. Weekend.ca agrees to honour all orders
subject to product availability or production capabilities. Orders are processed
on a first-come first-served basis.
All services and activities are subject to the provider’s
availability. The gift box holder must reserve, enough time in advance, with the
provider whose package he selected and. whose contact
information is provided in the guide included in gift box. Cancellation and
rescheduling is solely at the provider’s discretion.
Weekend.ca cannot not be held liable
should the activity provider be unable to accept a Weekend gift certificate at a
given date or time, if he fails to honour his exclusive offer, or if he closes
or goes bankrupt. Weekend.ca cannot be held liable for any unfortunate
experience, accident, improper actions or damage incurred by the gift box holder
before, during and after a gift box activity.
Act of God
The terms and conditions stipulated
herein are not applicable or will be suspended if the activity cannot be
delivered because of an Act of God such as hostilities, war, natural disaster,
fire, etc…
Intellectual property
All documents, texts, photographs or
other contents posted on this website are copyrighted and protected worldwide. They cannot be copied or used without the expressed written authorization of
Weekend.ca.
